Glamloving: Coca-Cola: Move to the beat !

Last Wednesday I had the opportunity to attend a pop-up event by Coca-Cola which was held at Kinepolis Antwerpen. The invitation was a little bit vague about what was going to happen, but it was clear that it had something to do with the Olympic Games in London this year. The bad weather and horrible traffic almost made me late, but luckily I managed to get there in time.

At the main entrance hall of Kinepolis, Coca-Cola had built a beautiful stage with a red button beside it. When you pushed the button, the famous Coca-Cola 'whoaoaooo' sounded, followed by all sorts off music: from 'the Macarena' to 'the Chicken Dance' to 'AC/DC'... there was something in there for everyone! At that moment you were supposed to enter the stage and dance your ass off. When the music stopped, two doors at the back of the stage opened and all sorts of prices came out of it: a lot of Coca-Cola bottles, cinema tickets, a plastic pool, tennis balls, a huge bag of popcorn and ... a duo VIP ticket for the Olympic Games!

I must say that this event gave the slogan 'Open happiness' a whole new meaning. It really made me smile to see all those people dance and especially their faces when the prices came out. I made some pictures of them (a lot actually), so you could get a glimpse of the atmosphere.
